Collector FAQ
What is Asase Fine Art?+
Asase Fine Art is a contemporary African fine-art gallery and collecting platform based in Accra, Ghana. We curate, authenticate, and present contemporary, traditional, and emerging African artworks — paintings, sculpture, and textile art — for private collectors, diaspora buyers, and corporate clients across Ghana, West Africa, and internationally.
How does provenance and authentication work?+
Every available work is disclosed with its studio origin, exhibition history, and edition notes before purchase. Available works ship with a signed certificate of authenticity and a work dossier. When independent verification is warranted, we refer collectors to specialists rather than overstate our own opinion.
Can I view a work before I buy?+
Yes. We offer private viewing rooms in Accra by appointment, and secure high-resolution video consultations for diaspora and francophone West African collectors. A private viewing is a conversation with the works — never a hard sell.
How do payment and shipping work?+
Prices are quoted in Ghana Cedis (GH₵). Secure checkout is available via Paystack and bank transfer. For international collectors we coordinate professional crating, insurance valuation, and documentation with trusted logistics partners; shipping is arranged per work.
Do you work with collectors outside Ghana?+
Yes. We serve diaspora and francophone West African collectors (Togo, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal and beyond) through secure video viewings, French-language service, and coordinated international shipping. Viewings in person take place at our Accra suite by appointment.
Can Asase help build a whole collection or a corporate programme?+
Yes. Our art advisory desk builds private collecting strategies aligned to taste, budget, and space, and we run end-to-end corporate art procurement for banks, hotels, embassies, and HQ lobbies — from brief and shortlist to authentication, framing, and installation.
